Evaluation!

Album Cover Back Altered

After realising that the back cover normally includes a spine I adjusted my final copy to accommodate this. I have just extended the cover and then put another white border inside it with the bands initials at the bottom. This last detail makes my cover look a lot more thought out and professional.

Album Cover Back Final

This is the final back cover for my album, I have kept it similar to the front of the cover, which links the products together nicely.

Album Cover Back

For the back on my album cover I am continuing the theme of the front of it so that they match and the idea of them working together is realistic.
i have kept the same title, font and images as the front, I am just going to move them about slightly so they look different.
I just need to finalise where I want to place them and then add the tracks listed on the album.

Final Album Cover

After receiving feedback on my album cover, I have decided to change the position of the text and images, I have made the text straight at the top and the hearts slightly more central, I think that this makes the whole cover neater creating a better look overall.
Due to the change of font with my poster, I have decided to carry this on and keep this font for my cover also (Bradley Hand ITC), which overall does create a more sophisticated look, proving a popular choice when I asked for feedback on it.

Final Poster

After finding the layout for my poster, I have finished it off by adding some details such as underlining the band name and spacing the fonts at the bottom of the page. I think that these details finish the product off nicely, to make sure that it is the best it could be, I shall ask for feedback.
Also, I have decided to stick to my new font (Bradley Hand ITC), as I think that this looks much better than my first chosen one.

Amy: I like this poster now, it was better than the first one as it now links into the rest of the products with the bold outline and the underlining of the band name.
Alex: This design links well with your other products, the only way it could be improved is to add colour, but that might take away from your cartoon theme.
Perry: I like how you have changed the font, as I didn't like the one before and I think it looks better as a whole with the new font.
Ash: I like how you have kept the colour scheme black and white, it makes the text and images stand out more than if there was colour everywhere, nothing just blends into the background.

Poster

The third draft of my poster has been edited to make the two heart images into one, I believe that this suits my video theme more, as it is about selfish love.
When asking for feedback on this version 4 out of 5 people said they prefered the single image to the one before.

Poster

I have decided that my first poster would be better for my products, so I am developing that one instead of my second one.
This second draft has added a border to the poster, making it stand out more as the feedback from my first draft suggested.
The general feedback for this poster is positive, with all of those I asked liking the new border and prefering it to the first draft.

Poster

Unlike my other poster, this one uses colour and no images, making the name of the artist as the most prominent thing on the poster. The font I have used is called Impact, I chose this one because it gave the letters a bold look, making them stand out, which is important in a poster that doesn't use any images.
I like this poster, but I don't think that it works as well as I had thought it would, due to the lack of pictures.

Poster

Again, I have produced this poster at home, meaning I cannot use my chosen fonts, but I prefer this new font than my older one, it brings more of a professional look to it while still catering for my ongoing theme.
Feedback;
Amy: I like this design because it links to your other products and the simplistic theme suits it.
Alex: This is okay but I think that you can improve it by adding more detail or colour to it.
Perry: I prefer this design to your other one because its more suited to your products, but I still think it can be improved by making the poster stand out more.
Ash: I think that the print at the bottom should be made bolder or something to make it stand out more, or for the rest of the poster to have some colour.

Album Cover

I have tried to make my album cover look more busy without overcrowding it, so to achieve this look I have added an extra heart to the front.
I like how the look that this has created, I think it looks better than just the single heart.

Album Cover

Due to me producing this cover at home, I have not been able to use my chosen font, if I decide to use this design further, I will modify it with my font.
This cover uses a screenshot from the actual music video, which links the products in together well. It also then follows the theme of the video, with the animation look to it.
I think that this cover is weaker than my previous design, as no solid images are used, only the border, which makes it look dull in comparison.

Album Cover

This is one of my CD covers, which sticks to a minimalistic, simple theme. I have added more details like the image and more text. I like the way that the monochrome colours link to my animation theme, linking my products together, however I think that I could make the cover more interesting by adding simple colours to it or even more images.

Album Cover

I have started to create the basic outline for my album cover. I have not added any images yet, nor have I added the name of the album, but I have used my chosen font to create the bands name and given the cover a grey outline. I like the effect that this have given my cover, as it has made it more defined. It also fits in with the theme of my video.
To make sure that I am on the right lines with this I have asked for feedback on this mock up.
Amy: I like the start of this cover, I like how it is black and white, which I think would look better than a colour cover.
Alex: This is good so far, but I think that it really needs some sort of image to allow it to stand out.
Perry: I'm not sure if I like this font but I guess it does go with your theme, I think you should try different fonts though just to make sure you have got the right one.
Ash: I agree with Perry, I'm not sure if i like this font, but I like the rest of the product.

The Start of My Video

I have uploaded the first part of my video onto Microsoft Powerpoint so that I can get a feel for how it will work. The part that I have uploaded is my charactor tapping his foot, this will be matched to the beat of the music, creating the introduction to the music video before any lyrics start.

Over the Christmas Period

I have found it hard to access a computer for a few weeks so during this time I have been working on producing my video through paint. Before I carry on producing more shots, I now need to upload the video into pinacle studios and put it onto my blog to gather feedback so that I can make any changes I need to before I carry on and complete my video.
